Fortress404 is the commercial expression of a lesson learned the hard way across the stack: small businesses do not just need websites; they need recovery, security, and operational continuity.
Where it is now
Fortress404 is live on the VPS as a PM2 service and part of the broader portfolio. It sits alongside the recovery-bundle thinking, mail/server operations, and deployment discipline that already exist in the T-drive stack.
The barriers
The challenge is making security feel practical rather than abstract. A customer does not buy "best practices"; they buy fewer dead ends when something breaks.
How I did it
The project frames security as an operational product: backups, diagnostics, site hardening, recovery paths, and clear support boundaries. It is a good example of turning internal discipline into something sellable.
